Please note that no goods or services can be received for a grant made through a donor advised fund. Ticket purchases for events such as the Rhody Awards cannot come from a donor advised fund.
Retirement Accounts
Consider making a gift through your IRA or other retirement account. Preserve RI recommends you discuss any gift made through a retirement account with your financial advisor to determine how to maximize your gift's impact. Please keep in mind that gifts made to Preserve RI can help you meet your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).

Real Estate
Preserve RI will consider accepting gifts of real estate. If you own a historic building or open land, Preserve RI can advise on ways to include permanent protection as a part of your estate plan. (Learn more about our Easement Program that permanently protects historic properties here.) With gifts of real estate, consult with Preserve RI in advance of making provisions in your estate plan so we can fully understand your intentions.
