Join a guided tour through the elaborately decorated rooms of Lippitt House and explore how Providence’s history shaped the Rhode Island of today.
Staff share stories focusing on the people who lived and worked in the house in the 19th century, illustrating ideas about industry, immigration, design, and civic engagement.
On Fridays and select Saturdays, tours are offered at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM & 2:00 PM (check calendar for availability).
On the first Thursday evening of each month, tours begin at 5:00 PM & 6:00 PM.
Capacity is limited and advance reservations are recommended.
