Building a Caring Future: Supporting Immigrants in Rhode Island

Lippitt House Museum and the Providence League of Women Voters are partnering on two in-person community discussions about supporting local community members in times of need.
Doors open at 6:30 PM with a short reception, followed by a facilitated discussion from 7:00 – 8:00 PM.
Monday, March 9th's program is titled "Supporting Immigrants in Rhode Island";
How are federal policy changes affecting immigrants and communities in Rhode Island? Speakers from local organizations will discuss recent shifts in immigration policy, their impact on the state’s workforce and population, and the safety and well-being of immigrant communities. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of the issues and ways to help build stronger, more inclusive communities.
