As a member of Preserve Rhode Island, you play a critical role in protecting the historic places we all cherish.
We could not do our work without your support. 65% of Preserve RI's revenue comes from gifts like yours. Our Community Preservation Response (CPR) program, which helps homeowners and concerned community members with concerns about historic properties, relies on donations. Properties like Greene Farm in Warwick (pictured above on the left) or Broadmoor in Narragansett (pictured above on the right), get help from our CPR program to plan for their futures.
At Preserve Rhode Island, we are passionate about our role as the only statewide advocate for historic places. Our work goes on in communities across the state. Speaking in front of town councils. Testifying at State House committee hearings. Visiting historic properties to assess building conditions. Meeting with home owners, local groups and organizations working to protect the places that give Rhode Island its unique character.
From Westerly to Woonsocket, we bring individuals and groups together to strengthen their initiatives and raise a collective voice to defend local historic treasures.
