Fridays from 11am to 3pm
Tours begin on the hour with the first tour at 11am and the last tour at 2pm.
Private tours during the week can also be scheduled in advance.

Directions
The Governor Henry Lippitt House Museum is located on the East Side of Providence at 199 Hope Street, Providenece, Rhode Island.
From Interstate 95 (north and south) follow signs for Interstate 195 East. Travel on 195 east to exit 3/Gano Street. Take a left at the end of the ramp onto Gano Street. At the fourth traffic light turn left onto Angell Street. Go five blocks to Hope Street. The museum is on the corner of Hope and Angell Streets. Street parking is available.
Special Tours
Dining in Style: They used that to do what?
An interactive exhibit that explains the different Victorian serving utensils used for formal dining. Visitors are put to the challenge to match service items to the 1893 Dining Room inventory sheet.
Decorative Motif
Observe the details and join in a conversation on what were the influences of 19th Century decoration. Influences include the Alhambra in Spain, William Morris and Owen Jones book on the "Grammer of Ornament".
Children's Tours
Children are given a tour and then go on a "treasure hunt" with workbook provided.
