Located on the Bristol waterfront off Ferry Road, Blithewold was donated to Preserve Rhode Island in 1976.  Since 1999, Blithewold has been successfully operated as a premier garden estate and wedding venue by Blithewold Inc., an organization founded by Bristol residents who were concerned for the future sustainability of the property.  Under a 99-year lease from Preserve Rhode Island, Blithewold Inc independently manages and stewards this important piece of Rhode Island history.  To visit or support Blithewold, go to www.blithewold.org for more information.
