The New York based Made to Measure Band with Miss Wensday, Kristen Minsky, and Jess Powers will have you lost in the holiday spirit while listening to classic holiday tunes.  The Lippitt House will be exquisitely decorated for the season. Warm up with cozy cocktails and complimentary hors d'oeuvres reminiscent of the 40's jazz era.  Cash bar.  Space is limited for these intimate concerts.  Doors open a 6:30 pm.

Francisco Pais Jazz Quintet | 7:00 pm | $15 in advance/$18 at door

Enjoy extraordinary live jazz in the Lippitt House Museum! Jazz composer/musician Francisco Pais' new eclectic quintet debuts at the Museum in the first concert of the 2011 Hunter Music Series. Pais, known for jazz experimentation and innovation, has assembled a wide ranging group of talented musicians who will perform in this fabulously opulent setting. Joining Pais for this one-time concert: Maeve Gilchrist, an amazing harpist and Berklee grad who grew up in Scotland; Ferenc Nemeth, an award-winning percussionist who was born in Hungary, played drums at the age of three and has performed with some of the world's great jazz legends, including Herbie Hancock; Margaret Glaspy, a frequent headliner at Boston's Club Passim, will add her smokey voice to the mix; and Mike Thomas, an accomplished clarinetist and soprano sax player, rounds out the sound. Enjoy fabulous hors d'oeuvres and drinks by donation. Space is limited for these intimate concerts. Early advance admission purchase is recommended. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Boston Children’s Music awarded them 1st place for the 2010 Favorite Kid’s Album Award for their album The New Explorer’s Club - come catch their silly and catchy lyrics!   Arrive early with your blanket and bring a late afternoon picnic.  For rain date, call (401) 453-0688 after 1pm the day of the concert.  Listen to the Flannery Brothers at www.flannerybrothers.com.
