Featuring acoustic performances of traditional holiday songs by Mary Audette, Alan Bradbury, and Everett Brown, played on a variety of acoustic instruments. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a reception with cash bar, concert starts at 7:00 pm.
Alan Bradbury is a versatile well known musician who performs throughout the United States. He is much in demand both as a bassist and as a Cajun accordionist who performs with several contrabands. He is a member of the favorite Magnolia and Planet Zydeco.He also has performed and recorded with the Wickford Express as well as Compass Rose and is one of the original members of the New England Christmastide.
Mary Audette is a flautist/keyboard/ rhythm mandolin player/guitarist who has appeared throughout New England with groups such as Compass Rose with Dave Peloquin of Maine and Everett Brown. She is one of the recording artists featured on North Star recording of New England Yuletide, on Terry Coe’s Harper’s Fancy, and on the CD compilation entitled Working In Harmony for Home and Hearth.
Everett Brown is a composer/arranger as well as a highly regarded multi-instrumentalist who was a member of the former Wickford Express, and a co-founder of Compass Rose. He has been songwriter/humorist Jon Campbell’s accompanist since the 1980s and has performed at the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts. He is one of the arrangers behind the New England Christmastide records and one of the original Christmastide musicians. Both Mary and Everett are members of the music group Barnacle, three times nominated by Motif Music Awards.
